北京楷祺心血管公益基金会积极推进与“一带一路”国家和地区开展心血管医疗技术合作，着力搭建“一带一路”心血管创新与合作平台，秉承“互学互鉴、互利共赢”的丝绸之路精神，依托中国心血管疾病领域的技术的优势，与沿线国家、地区共同探讨对于心血管医疗合作的期望、内容、方式和机制，从而推动长期的、切合实际需要与发展的心血管疾病管理与诊疗的深度合作。

Beijing Kaiqi Cardiovascular Foundation (henceforth referred to as the Foundation) takes an active role in technical collaboration in battling cardiovascular disease (CVD) with countries from “The Belt and Road” regions. It is committed to establishing “The Belt and Road” innovation cooperation platforms in the traditional Silk Road spirit of “mutual learning and mutual benefit”. Based on China’s technical advantages in treating CVD, the Foundation aims to promote the exchange and communication with countries along the routes about the expectation, content, approaches, and mechanisms of cooperation in CVD, so as to encourage a long-term and deep collaboration which will meet the practical demand in CVD management and treatment. 

依托国家重点研发计划“重大慢病防控关键技术在“一带一路”国家推广及评价研究”项目，组织国家心血管病中心 中国医学科学院阜外医院在缅甸、柬埔寨、老挝3国推广心血管病高危人群筛查及综合干预评价的成熟适宜技术，同时在当地基层医疗机构中推广评价国家心血管病中心开发的临床辅助决策工具和患者健康教育平台。为未来推动在更多“一带一路”国家共同建设心血管防治平台奠定基础。

Based on the National Key R&D Program ” Promotion and Evaluation of Key Technologies for the Prevention and Management of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) in Countries Involved in the Belt and Road Initiative”, the Foundation promotes the application of appropriate techniques in screening and intervention among the population at high risk of CVD in Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos with inviting experts from Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases(NCCD). It also promotes the clinical decision support tools and patient education platforms developed by NCCD among the primary health-care institutions in the local countries. These efforts would pave the way for facilitating co-establishing CVD prevention platforms by the countries from “The Belt and Road” regions in the future.

在新冠肺炎疫情持续影响下，北京楷祺心血管公益基金会积极拓展转变工作模式，利用网络平台，解决澜湄区域国家慢病防控紧要知识需求，统筹开展联防联控，携手调整救治体系，增进人民健康福祉，维护促进澜湄区域交往合作。更加全面、深入、系统性地开展多期针对心脑血管、癌症等领域慢病防治相关培训。

Given that the COVID-19 pandemic continues across the globe, the Foundation adapts its ways of working, making most of the web-platform to address the emerging need from the Lancang-Mekong regions, particularly regarding the key knowledge on prevention and control of chronic disease, facilitating the coordination of joint prevention and control, and co-working on the adaptation of health-care systems, which will further enhance people’s well-being and strengthen the collaboration among the Lancang-Mekong regions. The Foundation also conducts a series of training sessions on prevention and control of chronic disease, such as cardio-cerebral vascular diseases, cancer, etc., in a more comprehensive, thorough, and systemic fashion.
